I was a kindergarten student at Logan School, small red building housing the kindergarten back in the 1970s. I remember the building there very well due to on incident.
One day, I needed to use the restroom. My teacher, Mrs. G., let me go with another student name D. D and I went to the bathroom and did our thing. Afterwards, we decided to create some mischief and clog the sink with paper towels so it would flood. We kept our feet on the foot rail which stepped on turned the water on.
As we were flooding the sink, I remember hearing this big pounding on the restroom wall. We both turned to the left and saw a shadow of the man pounding on the white wall. It scared the both of us and we ran out calling for our teacher.
Mrs. G. came later with us with another teacher but she did not see a thing.
For the rest of the school year I was scared to enter that restroom by myself. Sometimes I thought I saw the shadow of the man again but it was just a tree. Some would say it was a man working outside on the wall but it was impossible since the building siding were made of wood. Could it have been a ghost, I do not know.
All I remember was that I was scared. The memory still fills my head some 39 years later.
